1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, applying for a position, or engaging with any service offered by Sweet Tea Home Care™ (“Company,” “we,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services immediately.
2. Services Provided
Sweet Tea Home Care™ provides non-medical in-home care services, caregiver coordination, and family support in Birmingham, Alabama, and surrounding areas.
(a) Service Requests & Consultations

Services are available to individuals aged 18 or older or their authorized representatives.

Clients must provide accurate and complete information when requesting care.
β
We reserve the right to accept or decline service based on caregiver availability, safety, or care requirements outside our scope.
3. Payment Terms
Care services are billed based on hourly rates or care packages outlined in your service agreement.

All payments must be made using approved methods (credit/debit card, check, ACH).
β
Clients are responsible for timely payment according to the terms agreed upon in their service contract.
β
Late payments may result in additional fees or service suspension.
(a) Refund & Cancellation Policy
We do not offer refunds once services have been rendered.
π Clients must provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for service cancellations to avoid being billed for the scheduled visit.
4. Independent Contractor Relationships
Sweet Tea Home Care™ partners with independent contractors to deliver care services.

Caregivers are not employees of Sweet Tea Home Care™.
β
Contractors are required to comply with all applicable state laws and professional standards.
β
Clients may not hire, solicit, or contract Sweet Tea caregivers directly outside of our platform without written permission.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients and/or their representatives agree to:

Maintain a safe and respectful environment for caregivers

Disclose any relevant health or behavioral information before care begins

Cooperate with scheduling and payment agreements

Treat caregivers with dignity and professionalism
π¨ Sweet Tea Home Care™ reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if safety concerns or contractual violations occur.
6. Confidentiality
We take client privacy seriously. All personal and medical information shared with Sweet Tea Home Care™ is handled in accordance with HIPAA and related privacy laws.

All caregivers and staff are trained in confidentiality practices.

We do not share or disclose your personal data without your consent, unless required by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
Sweet Tea Home Care™ is committed to providing quality care services. However, we are not liable for:
β Injuries or accidents resulting from circumstances beyond our control
β Client negligence, unsafe home environments, or misinformation
β Delays due to emergencies, illness, or natural events
π Our total liability, if any, is limited to the fees paid for services within the previous 30 days.
8. Website Use & Intellectual Property
